sad little couple
been a tough few years now
battling some serious health issues
alone without friends or family
today is his birthday
looking forward to
a fun day out for once
rather than
endless doctors appointments
AND BEHOLD
the rains came
thunder and lightning
the angels staged
an excellent performance
oh well the alternative is
spending the day in bed
cuddling
eating birthday cake
sipping hot chocolate
watching a movie
there are worse ways
to spend a birthday at this age
