SENRYU  5 7 5
focuses on human nature and behaviour

A senryu is a short, three-line Japanese poetic form structurally identical to a haiku (typically following a 5-7-5 syllable pattern), but which turns its lens toward human nature, everyday ironies, and relational quirks rather than the natural world.

he noticed her eyes lighting up
when he entered the room
he found her irresistible

they had a lot in common
similar interests much to talk about
he was overcome with a wild delight

until he took her hand
saw the wedding ring
his dreams came crashing down

feeling somewhat french

i miss her so much
we do keep in touch
i think i'll see her quite soon

how lucky was ma
living with this star
who cooked and sewed like a dream
cackling at a high pitch
her laughter was rich
we were such a good close team

amuse wary cast chart habit carry fist settle  charm  thorough memory life

she was wary of charm
terribly addicted to it
off the chart in fact
got completely carried away
a habit of a lifetime

from memory
it had caused problems her whole life
of course if they were amusing as well
it was fatal

how many times with raised fist
like someone in the cast of a Shakespeare play
had she given herself a thorough talking to
admonishing her self indulgent  behaviour

Right that's settled then
all sorted 
and then he sat down 
began to play Schubert
