Haiku Heights

luxury does not
fill the infinite abyss
devoid of love

shrouds have no pockets
true,money makes friends
until you lose it

love is elusive
found in true romance novels
rarely in real life

satan  creeps along
disguised as golden sunshine
hiding dark rain clouds

raining on my life
a wet soggy mackintosh
in need of fierce heat

true friendship like heat
emanates from the sun with
warmth loyalty love

For The Weekend

Chimps are better at Charity.

3WW...hamper pulverize taunt

pulverized by humiliating taunts
he climbed on to the stool
placed the rope around his neck
and kicked it away

the church service was lovely
his nemesis cried crocodile tears
the other mates were pissed off
that it had come to this causing
questions to be asked

not hampered by  conscience
consoling themselves
in a lot  of hymn singing
parroting reams of scriptural litany
hands joined together in prayer

they met up at the pub later on
and said what a good bloke he was
pity he took so much to heart
did you know
his room was packed out with  poetry books?
( snigger )
raise your glasses
here's to Wuzza

Cri de Coeur

a cleaved cri de coeur
sat on the shoreline
scrinched wound gutted
as its other half
bobbed  buoyantly
cerising the white foam
floating out to sea

Haiku Heights

sal and sibella
a great little support team
loving friends for life

those who dont like cats
are missing a dimension
in their arid lives

i would not marry
a man who does not like cats
he must love me first

then he can love cars
and other boy toy hobbies
sans lips hips and tits

A Leopard Fond Of Her Spots

she thought
she had found it
that connection
that had always
eluded her

she was the type
who would kill
for her cubs
he fell with ease
into that category

bleeding and humiliated
blade pointed
at his throat
ready to be sliced

con brio- she struck
leopard like
lethal and quick

and he - war torn
and weary
looked her straight
in the eye and said
"how could you be so cruel " ?

A Prayer

The struggle begins now for life
The fog of death is creeping slowly
over her poor little ravaged body
while she suffers slowly
May God be lenient and take her quickly
Her goodness and kindness shines like a beacon
and has touched us all
We are truly blessed to be her friends
Courage ma petite ange
Courage

Shoebox Life

there was an old woman
who lived in a shoe
she had so many children
cos she didn't know what to do
her and her  brood ate so  much food
living all cramped together in  her tiny abood

bureaucrat said "what kind of a parent are you?
you dont have ipods or designer  clad shoes?"
"not much of one" she said so sadly to him
"at least i clean up and throw rubbish in the bins"

he said" what are you kids all reading now?
oh,Einstein, calculus, quantum physics theorems somehow"

Haiku Heights

i don't want wisdom
i want to drown in a sea
of passionate love

wisdom is something
that will always elude me
i am not the type

wisdom would change me
i would become sensible
no longer silly

maybe i should try
to gain wisdom through poems
a lost cause i think

Stars and Dust

3WW...murmur cling taken

i know you're taken babe
i will cling to the hope of
just being a mumur on the
distant breeze that brushes
your soul from time to time

3 WW...murmur cling taken

the photo already taken
i cling to his shirt
for a few seconds too long
he hears my heart murmur
he knows

Haiku Heights

crumbling lime stone rock
ordinary to look at
magic to work with

how ordinary
said the surprised vicar
no,they are not mine

ordinary lives
contain ordinary thoughts
bland colour free zone

if i were a bird
i would be a canary
plain ordinary

Recycled Romance

3 WW ...mist bulky resign

her specs misted up
as she fingered the bulky sweater
that took her two years to knit
he didn't even pack it
resigned that he would never return
she began to unravel the wool
winding it into balls planning
on knitting a blanket for her dog's bed
