CINQUAINS FOR CHRISTMAS
no fun
this ageing thing
people start to pop off
leaving us unexpectedly
too sad
no time
for reflection
just trying to survive
the slings and arrows hurled at us
by life
advice
take it slowly
day by day gratitude
deo gratias for nature's
fine gifts
blue sky
raindrops on leaves
a kookaburra's laugh
the drama of a stormy night
thank you

I would love to hear a kookaburra laugh.
With a 'no fun' starting and closing it with a kookaburra's laugh is good. 😊
ReplyDeleteYes, people seem to be popping off unexpectedly. I love the drama of a stormy night.
ReplyDeleteYes, there is an acceptance and optimism here.. even in the description of folks "popping off" as soap bubbles... Lovely!
ReplyDeleteYou speak for all of us Rall ... especially me! Wishing you peace, love and joy this Holiday Season.
