  1. A very happy poem ... mood setting too.

  2. I love it too! (Even though I am Vegan now, and no longer have seafood. But I can get Vegan xmas cakes and puds, and lots of other treats.) To each their own – but no, I never dream of a white xmas. Tim Minchin's song about 'drinking white wine in the sun' is more like it. I think it's great that we now have a few writings (more and more all the time) celebrating the Aussie xmas; thanks for adding to them. Bring on the 'nice nap,' the movies and liqueur!

  4. It sounds like you have wonderful Christmas celebrations down under, Rall. I have to keep reminding myself that you're in the Southern Hemisphere and Christmas is in summer for you. What fun! 🎄

  6. I liked the calm feeling I got from each of the pieces, as well as the thought that there's a place in the world where Christmas is informal and relaxed.
