School Days

Mid Week Motif...PU

the teacher
looks like a movie star
arrives with a hangover
turns off the lights
falls asleep on the desk
the kids watch a movie

does not give homework
no questions or talking
before 11 am
allows food and drinks
to be consumed
in the classroom

she is classified
as a bad teacher
most of her students
probably
would not agree

Bullies

all bullies
both adult and children
taunt
ridicule
humiliate

online
being the favoured
modus operandi

adult bullies hide
behind facades
lurk in all kinds of jobs
from the dog collar
to the classroom
needing constant approval
to bolster defective egos

they particularly like to  hide
behind  occupations
which take responsibility
for the young and the vulnerable
(easy prey )

thrive
off cruelty and suffering
wearing the approval badge
of respectability

Shadorma

innocent
a lovely nature
beautiful
sensitive
too good and kind for this world
they drove him to death

For all the victims of bullying
who found it impossible to sustain the torture
and took a way out

This poem is dedicated to you

For The Weekend

Sunday Scribblings 2

Photo of Cro Magnon (without permission) of Magnons Meanderings
challenging local fauna.

toro struck by fear
carrying no illusions
knew
he was no match
for the mighty matador
and his gingham tea towel

defeated
toro
prepared himself for death
by pointy end
of the wooden spoon
