fresh flowers and herbs
listening to jazz
gin and tonic
the smell of dawn
on the beach

my  life

on my little balcony
the waves pound the shore
the beach is closed

serenading me
with caramel tones
on this lovely autumn afternoon
when i finish
i will sit
drink in all this beauty
with a tipple and sigh
