HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIBRANS

To celebrate, here is a challenge for those who love wordles.I hope these 100 words are legible.I found them when I was doing the washing. If more than one person enters there will be a prize; a DVD " Under Milkwood " by Dylan Thomas with Richard Burton, Peter O'Toole and Elizabeth Taylor.

  1. What sort of madperson would think a 100-word wordle is a gift? And where do you Brit-types get those extra letters you add to perfectly fine words like fetid?

    happy bd, rall

  2. Someone like me I suppose. Foetid looks better than fetid, although I think the latter is the current spelling these days.
Happy bd to you too Barbara!

  3. And how many months does one get to complete the task? A bottle of bubbly would make a nice extra birthday prize! Who are we toasting? - you know how bad I am with names!

  7. Viv are you sure you're not living in a dacha in the Gulags? Your response sounds very russe and brusque.

  11. Marianne, it seems much harder thaN it actually is. A lot of the words fit together. Just think of it as 10 loads of washing. You could do that with your eyes shut:)

  12. Oh, Lordie, I'd rather do wash than tackle a 100-word wordle. Even 10 loads!

  13. Don't be a wimp Mary, You need something to sink your teeth into. You can do it easily:)

  14. I'm always game for a wordle, and I like the challenge of putting 100 together. I have two libran nephews, so maybe they'll give me inspiration.

  16. Hello Rall. I have hacked out a hundred wordle. Will I post it on my own blog, or as a long long long comment here?

    "An Australian lassie called Rall
who is really a hard-writing gal
    erected a hurdle -
    a hundred word wordle
but FTSE said "Crack it? I shall!"

  18. I'm assuming your October 31st deadline means what it says. I have a copy of the DVD "Under Milk Wood." Does David Jason have a reputation in Australia? He appears in it as "Bad Boy," falling about in a rowing boat.
    A really enjoyable film.

  19. David Jason is very well known. We see a lot of BBC on our ABC. If you win I will
need to give you something else since you already have "Under Milkwood".Hmmm how about a one way ticket to Oz with tin shed accomodation in the outback. We need a jackaroo. What are you like at fencing or punching out kangaroos in 120 degree heat?:)October 31 gives the busy people enough time.
