3WW Cease Nasty Heat
She's not nasty
She's nice
She never ceases
to disarm
She can take the heat
dance to the beat
She cops it sweet
She gets what she wants
She'll love and fight you
simultaneously
She frustrates
She'll drive you crazy
She'll melt your heart
right from the start
Surrender
She is Woman
This poem has beautiful rhythm and I love the picture you paint of woman.

ReplyDeleteSome of us are a tad feisty Jaerose.
ReplyDelete'Coy'?...a word I don't know:)
Hello is that Helen Mirren tantalising us again? She is all what you say and more. Try to see her early film "Age of Consent" with James Mason.
ReplyDeleteHi Sheilagh!
ReplyDeleteSure is Old Egg and I have seen that film, a very long time ago.I'll look at it again. All I remember is Mirren was very dishy and James Mason's hopeless Aussie accent.
ReplyDeleteIt's a hard one to replicate, isn't it Cobber?
(the accent that is:)
AaaaH! Helen Mirren - say no more, no more needed.
ReplyDeleteYour poem sums her up, I think.
Ah..now I know that Altonian and old egg are Helen Mirren fans.
ReplyDeleteThis poem was un hommage in praise of the older woman. Meaning if you're hot, you're hot at any age and if you're not, you're not at any age either!
This is fantastic, I love the homage to older women =) Fantastic flow
ReplyDeleteWelcome mlmisery:)
