Connection

3WW...detach jolt surge

out of the blue
a reality jolt hits

a lightning surge
of divine intervention

karma.. call
it what you like

she is destined
to be detached

unattached
a disconnect

a solitary
frayed faded tea towel

held by a single peg
on a rusty clothesline

the fly on the wall
outside looking in

she must resign herself
accept without struggle

she will never
find that connection

well perhaps
only with a hamster

  1. A hamster would be better than some wouldn't it? Thought this a wonderful play with words, and appreciated much the finish. There could be worse things...right? ;)

  2. Great poem, the right ones seem to be hidden while the false ones seem to be rampant.

  8. Loved your imagery, especially the rusty clothes peg, for some reason! Great use of the words :o)
