Who Wants Endless Summer ?


i wish this was us
instead of sweltering in
unbearable heat

i want

boots scrunching the ice
woolly coats hats and mittens
kindling and log fires

not

hot burning pavements
electric blue cloudless skies
red hot steering wheels

    I have had both in my lifetime and the heat still wins out, just!

    aah yes - hellish summer! You forgot to mention the sweat and the flies - no I am sure you chose not to mention them!
