Christmas - 3WW

an echo
of sadness
of hardship
reverberates
in the moment

the cold stable
wooden doors
creaking

animals
softly moaning
shuffling
in the straw

on this night
a love was born
that will haunt
the world forever

  1. Oooo...don't push me, woman!

Nice writing, I struggle with the message. But that's just me.

  2. What a powerful thought..it is a haunting..and how quickly the hardship was turned into plastic crap and Noddy Holder..or is that a whole other hardship..

  3. Now Now Cosmo...you're a psychologist. We both know why you overreact like this. Get that nice girl who lives next door to you to give you a shiatsu massage. That's the ticket!

  4. Very beautiful.
Eternal Love became human that night. I believe He arrived quietly, smiling, even though He knew the road that lay before Him.
