They stopped at Botany Bay and then sent a group to do a bit of sight seeing and when Captain Arthur Phillip arrived at Camp Cove..he was so overcome with the beauty,sydney rock oysters and the real estate potential he jumped off the ship,shot a couple of recalcitrant blacks, stuck a flag in the sand and said "Boys we've hit the jackpot here!"
