Christmas Carol

For Basia

hot Christmas morning
we played this - glimpsed your tears
i still remember

far away from home
missing snow and family
we go to church

so long ago
christmas in the sub tropics
i still remember

  1. It has to be so different to celebrate Christmas in the tropics.. some things must seem a little bit off really.

    1. Well it would be good if your compatriots thought like you...this city is
packed with tourists at Christmas/January escaping the northern winter...good for the economy ...not good for the peace of the locals.

  3. Yes there is something wonderful about crisp snow on Christmas morn that even fair weather people appreciate.

  4. I can imagine this Rall ... several years ago I celebrated Christmas on the Canarians, 34 degrees Celsius ... It's different, but it was just a one time tropics celebration .... I love the cold weather of The Netherlands and of course I hope to see snow (especially around Christmas)
