My haiku was metaphorical . However we do have an alpine region. This time last year it snowed in Perisher and Thredbo. Unusual in the summer. You can be surfing here and in a matter of hours be skiing on the same day.
I'm glad you told us that your haiku was a metaphor and referring to a specific place... literal minded me saw weird weather all around the down-under. Great photos and enjoyed your haiku!
