Sunday Scribblings 2
young beautiful and restless
she decided to walk her camels
3000 miles
across the great gibson desert
to the indian ocean
the photographer
drove a thousand miles
out of his way to
leave her notes and water
at points along the way
she never did disclose
what was in those notes
no need to
looking at the photo
the chemistry flies off the page
burning holes in the ozone
This is super awesome. I love it. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great incentive to march on! Delightful.

I love how you have told their story in a similar way to how it must have played out - and the photo does indeed say it all! Very good to read your work again Rallentanda..hoping you are well
ReplyDeleteIf It were not for the Australian government committed to creating hardship for the poor, the invasion of Isis, the outbreak of great white sharks along the coast, the ever increasing cost of living, dealing with humanity in general....I would feel fine....Thanks for asking:)
DeleteUnderstood...sending a :) across the miles...
DeleteThe beauty of this tale was the implied romantic liaison with the photographer Rick Smolan. Let's hope it was the case!
ReplyDeleteOf course it was...!
