Daffodils the reassuring promise of warmer weather to come after winters cold. Personally I prefer tulips but always expect me to be odd one out.
With all the wrongs in this world, it is comforting to have at least one thing right. For the poet, it is daffodils. For others, it may be clouds or toads, or thunderstorms. But there is always something right.
Ah, whatever brings/provides some comfort on days like that shall be cherished.-HA
