why is she smiling?
is it the perfumed rose
the balmy evening breeze of spring
full of promise in the air whispering
something wonderful might happen?
could it be the longer warmer days
packing away the furs scarves and beanies
or rediscovering her rufus dance music cds
memories of summer parties
or is it her wintry little heart
being jump started after hearing from him
after so many months ?
