Carpe Diem # 1676 Troiku

the aroma of pine
and the young morning's fresh rain
reach my words

Managua

the aroma of pine
wafts through the sheets
hanging on the line

and the young morning's fresh rain
makes me want to stay in bed
i'll lie in today

reach my words
bring me my bow of burning gold
just joking pen and paper will do

  1. I love the aroma of pine on fresh-hung sheets. I also love indoor rainy days but this year can count those on one hand, very alarming in what was a rainforest.

  2. We are winter and there is no need for a heater or over coat....yep it's getting hotter and dryer everywhere.

  3. Yes, a strong sense of positive infiltration here... Just how it is in the best of times...

  4. Reading and rereading just for the rain and the pine-scented sheets (which would definitely keep me near the bed) :)

  6. Bring me my bow of burning gold, that is such a strong mystical image. All that is needed is an arrow. Apollo had a golden bow.

  8. Lay back and enjoy the pine and the writing. It may feel as if you have a bow of gold.
