the plums

that were in

the icebox

and which

you were probably

saving

for breakfast

Forgive me

they were delicious

so sweet

and so cold

this is just to say

i am making lobster mornay tonight

with a fresh green salad 

followed by

fresh fruit berry salad

with mango and passionfruit icream

forgive me

for not offering you any

it tastes delicious 

goes spiffingly with chilled champagne

and you're not getting any of that either
