DAY 5

rustle of hearts on a sleeve
time for a good red wine
           take off your specs

                how about a
                   porpoise
                      kiss|

                      kiss

DAY 6

bring me my bow of burning gold

bring me by arrows of desire

and did those feet in ancient times

walk upon englands green and pleasant land

unlikely

and certainly not in the last 500 years

DAY 7  Triolet

what did she learn from all the pain

that strife and sorrow's part of life

what did she learn from all the pain

traditions dropped tossed in the rain

a selfish world ruthless no shame

there's more to life than being a wife

what did  she learn from all her pain

that strife and sorrow's part of life

  6. A lovely mixed bag! And the images too. My favourite texts: the very naughty Day 6, and the shape poem of Day 5.

  7. This looks like quite an interesting challenge to do. With six days worth provided there is surely something for everybody.

  11. Wonderful selection, Rall. I shall remember the first one, for next year--I had no idea OctPoWrimo was a thing. The last poem is powerful, and sadly true.
