OctPoWriMo Day 29 -

 Day 29

with a hey ho

the wind and the rain

for the rain

it raineth every day

the washing is wet on the line

my bones are sodden with ache

la nina has arrived

with her giant watering can

drowning the harvest

it never ends

Day 30   cinquain

 sometimes

life feels like this

you may be saved or not

it depends on your connections

that's right

money makes the world go around

Day 31

bye bye possums

same time

same place

next year

god willing

thank you

  1. Oh, this one brought back memories! Lovely. We lived in Oregon for 26 years where the rain started in late October and ended sometime in April. The ONLY way we could survive the long rainy season was to wear bright, bright colors and go out -- even if it were raining! Hope you have a bright umbrella.

  4. Very good, the lot of them. And it does depend greatly on our connections, which is why I feel so disconnected most of the time.
