Oh, lovely! Maria Callas, Kim Novak, a dragonfly, that witty take on Basho's frog pond, each delightful snippet of verse ... and oh my, I am most intrigued to learn of that house in the lane! Pity we don't live close enough for a good old catch-up.

ReplyDeletefighting off the snakes spiders termites and a wombat. I know everyone thinks wombats are cute but they can destroy a house if you are unlucky enough for one to move in to your place
