beautiful autumn sunshine
i watch the fairy wrens hop about and for the first time
notice their lovely warbling song
today everything is so still and deliciously quiet
in the outback
this moment has been a long time coming
deo gratias
Happy Easter Everyone !
Writers' Pantry # 64

A moment of musical peace composed and sang by Nature, we should all be thankful for that...

ReplyDeleteChrist is risen indeed! Happy Easter to you.
ReplyDeleteDays like the one described here are wonderful. I get far more of them living in the middle of nowhere than I did living in the city or the suburbs.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, and here's to a fleeting moment of peace!
ReplyDeleteStillness and quiet... lovely things. And what an adorable photo!
ReplyDeleteIt ia always a delight to find oneself in the outback and to see and hear the wild native creatures where they belong. My wife was a keen bird watcher and of course I got hooked as well snapping all the new birds seen to confirm the sighting after returning home. As for Roos they to were tolerant as we sat down still to show we would do no harm as they grazed for food.
ReplyDeleteI would one day like to see a kangaroo.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Such a lovely post ~~~ I long for a return visit to the Land Down Under.
