I watch as houseless people traverse our city streets ... hoping their shoes are sturdy, that their feet are dry, that they have warm socks. I have multiple bags of 'goodies' in my auto trunk stocked with gloves, socks, hats. When I see someone in need, I stop and I offer. Every little bit helps.
