Whirligig # 368

we must cling on to a glimmer of hope

cause life will be fine

take joy

in the bird warble

in a misty dawn

the glow of sunshine through the leaves

a twig the shape of a cross

there is no evidence that darkness

and the evil force will prevail

THIS WEEK'S WORDS come from "Imperfect" by Kim Stafford: evidence, hope, cause, darkness, twig, warble, glimmer, glow, misty, dawn, life, fine

  1. I hope that's true. In any case, birds continue to provide comfort.

  2. Birdsong and morning do bring hope. Each day a chance for anything wonderful to happen. I love your positive poem.

  3. What we cling to grows in us, on some precipice with small purchase. They can become a commons when they are shared, as here. Thanks -
