crumpled and burnt by the sun
a hot summer this year
counting my blessings everyday
no matter how bad things get
others are worse off
i light a candle
for the few who have been kind to me
God bless them
Kindness is the best in us. Many "crumpled and burnt" can be restored through kindness.
