Earthweal Weekly Challenge....In the Wake of Progress

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2008/jan/21/weather.architecture

anyone heard of floating homes

for flood prone areas?

holland has

no mention of it at all

here in oz

are we going to pretend

that the weather patterns will return to normal?

it's not one of our native birds

but we have plenty of ostriches down under

Barry Ross Smith

 SYDNEY

this is why you live here

you used to be able to do this

 all year round

boasting

no need for an overcoat

no need for an umbrella

our british cousins

flock here to live

to escape their awful weather

( sorry chaps! )

oh well

i saw a whale  at the beach yesterday

my  heart soared a little

 ..............................................................

 i have seen

 houses

furniture

walls

garden structures

 all built

from used tyres

and looking fabulous

there are

endless uses

for these  tyres

roads and biodiesel fuel can also be made from tyres

RECYCLING

is creative

fun

wonderfully challenging

aesthetically pleasing

RECYCLING

is one of the solutions

for saving our planet

  1. Thanks, Rall. I appreciate it. I love the positive message. Lots of people are finding ways to use old things in new ways.
