three talented kids
having the courage
to sing wonderful nerdy songs
grandparents would love
i would adopt all three
three bunches
for the price of one
sacred glimmers
in the supermarket
it's sunday
no one's swimming in my
bogey hole
good
one of the rocks has a big smile
one of the few constants
in my life
my nana told me it keeps the
sharks away
my nana knew everything
the soft dreamy gaze of
beautiful marmalade boy
a serious cuddlepuss
no need for an electric blanket
determined interlopers
an onion
and a fish fern
they are both very welcome

ReplyDeleteOh, what a delight, this series! Yes, those lads were in glorious voice, weren't they? And how lucky you to have such a knowing Nana. (Yes of course she did, I wouldn't doubt it!) And the Mother Teresa quote is perfect.
ReplyDeleteThat rock with the smiling face... love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a joy it was to stop here and to see your many sacred glimmers. Even when not understanding a single word, the music video, with the singing youth, injects a sudden surge of happiness and hope.
