Sunday Muse # 229

uh oh

school holidays

the overpacked family car

poor visibility

my days may be numbered

are we there yet?

the familiar cry

of those poor  deprived children

who didn't have

smart phones

head phones

and had no option but

to look out of the window

or

read a book

last day of school

teacher lets off steam

never going back

not all who wander are lost

  1. Liked the way you tied these together Rall. Many who are lost are actually just exploring… 😉✌🏼❤️

  2. I enjoyed all 3 of those, Rall, but the last one is my favorite.

  3. Hli 'Rall'!! I read this and immediately thought if it were applied to our generation growing up, we did not have cell phones and modern tech. Rather were told of the starving children in China and the like. You could know of them. Nice write.
BTW, I was also plagued by the "anonymous" gungy virus spread with google. She got angry and sentenced a bunt of us to be that way. On some blogger blogs we could not comment at all, others we could enter our name and current posting on the drop down at the arrow saying "anonymous" and get along that way. I still do with my cell smart phone, and I retired the other computer as it was generally naughty. But then my son dropped his old laptop on me here and I can post as usual again. I DID NOT AND WILL NOT SYNC IT, I think that caused my troubles. (I also opened up to the anonymous comments okay as now I know what it feels like to be left our when we could not help it. Please try me, I am getting several of those now posting. I would like to have a signature so I will know to whom I should reply comment.)

  5. That last one! This was a great journey through the year, captured the sense of rocketing along the road.

  6. You did a great job weaving in the photos but, I do feel nervous about the deer and more visibility.

  9. The second two took me back to when my lot were small and my wife was a teacher - I could just hear her saying that! Nice one.
