Queen Elizabeth II died September 8th 2022
the queen is dead
long live the king
dust to dust
ashes to ashes
no one escapes
the grim reaper
not the chess queen
not the real queen
may her majesty's favourite horses
await her arrival
in the big ascot in the sky
may she rest in peace

Yes, life is fragile no matter what place we hold on the chess board.

ReplyDeleteDear Rall, I love the images of Her Majesty you chose to accompany such meaningful words. Sadness here today in our Country for many reasons.
