FRIDAY WRITINGS #102

the delicious smell of paprkia chicken

wafts through the air

to the crystal tinkle plinks of boccherini

pink roses and carnations

sing the spring

against a matisse patterned kitchen

 a still life

in an artist's  little flat

  1. I like how you've recreated cozy scents of home, buoyant sounds and food for the soul.

  2. Your flowers are gorgeous indeed! And your adjectives in the poem do enhance the scene, including the things we can't see. But I am afraid I am rather ignorant about classical music – at first I thought boccherini was another dish being prepared! Or perhaps in the process of being dished up, with accompanying crockery and cutlery noises. LOL. Once I played the piece, I could hear the aptness of your adjectives.
