this afternoon
taking a cab home from the hospital
the driver could sense i was very distressed
and was very supportive
on arriving home i thanked him for his kindness
and said how much i appreciated it
in the circumstances
he reduced the fare
wished me well
and said he would pray for him
A simple human interaction makes the world seem a little brighter.
