ReplyDeleteYour cinquains for the Revolution resonate with me, Rall. I marched in my youth and think we deserve that ‘time to rest and enjoy a nice cuppa’. It is time for the young to do their bit.

ReplyDeleteIt is astounding to me that in the US, women will now have to march all over again for rights we marched for decades ago. I still march (hobble) for indigenous rights, but now cant make it through the full march. Your poem made me smile because relaxing and having a cuppa is something I have raised to a fine art after a hard working life. Smiles.
