your beautiful photographs
gracing our walls
you are still with me
but have left me as well
now but a mere shadow
of your former self
the cruelty of age
and its spear carriers
shows no mercy
Age is indeed a spear carrier.... thankfully there are the lasting memories of the beautiful flowers.
The sense of loss is so beautifully conveyed and in stark contrast to the beauty of the flowers themselves - Jae
