yesterday
i saw a small boy
offering to help an old man
struggling with his shopping

i admired the delivery boy's
lovely sneakers
asked him where he got them
said bought them cheap in china
saw the disappointment on my face
asked me what size shoe i was
and proceeded to remove his shoes
heard of giving the shirt off your back
but never the shoes off your feet
Wow, that IS amazing! Thank heaven there are many more good hearted people than the other kind. It's just that the other kind make so much noise that sometimes we forget. Thanks for this reminder.
