DAY 21 ...RXC # 377
the impossible will take a little while
especially when you have no mouth and must scream
it doesn't help having thirteen doorways either wolves behind all of them
you should really think about moving
all the stress is making you unpregnant
tis going to be difficult selling that house
with no water filter and other lies you're going to have to tell
to get rid of it
oh well as you previously said
the impossible will take a little while
- The Impossible Will Take a Little While (Paul Rogat Loeb)
- I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream (Harlan Ellison)
- Thirteen Doorways, Wolves behind them all (Laura Ruby)
- No Filter and Other Lies (Crystal Maldonado)
- Unpregnant (Jenni Hendricks and Ted Caplan)
DAY 22... Melissa's FFFC # 317
Breakfast In Bed
Breakfast In Bed
no thanks
are you serious
where is the fresh lobster
you know i only like roses
are you serious
where is the fresh lobster
you know i only like roses
really.. tsk!
any more
of this frightful behaviour
and i'll be finding myself
a new home
with an owner
who writes poems
any more
of this frightful behaviour
and i'll be finding myself
a new home
with an owner
who writes poems
understands cats
knows that we do a lot more
than sit on mats
DAY 23...What's Going On...https://newwhhatsgoingon.blogspot.com
of your musical laugh
watching jerry lewis on tv
this poem is my fascination
watching you crochet
minouche asleep on your lap
listening to tino rossi
this poem is a love poem
you dabbing grandpas's forehead
with eau de cologne and fanning him
on a scorching summers day
this poem is to thank you
for everything

DAY 25....ANZAC DAY....FRIDAY WRITINGS #
SHADORMA
have never
made the dawn service
too late now
a pity
kids march wearing war medals
so proud of their kin
made the dawn service
too late now
a pity
kids march wearing war medals
so proud of their kin
the anzacs
were so very young
makes me sad
just futile
wars never end... little men
makes me sad
just futile
wars never end... little men
wanting to be big
start all wars
destroying all life
around them
so evil
will this ever change..will there
be peace on this earth
destroying all life
around them
so evil
will this ever change..will there
be peace on this earth

I like how you brought in the sale of a house without a water filter 😊
ReplyDeleteWow! You cleverly incorporated all of them, Rall! Well done!

Maybe the cat doesn’t know the owner is getting ready to sell the house. Perhaps trying to bribe the cat with sweet treats. I love the lobster and roses. Only the best for kitty.🐱
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful series of poems and good for you doing the poem a day. I especially love the tender memory poem. The demonstration of true love. So lovely.

We will see a glimpse of Sydney soon as we have to spend 8 hours on the airport so we go into the city. Here in chch it was really busy with the dawn service I didn't go either
ReplyDeleteAll of these poems are wonderful, Rall. I especially like the one about the cat.
ReplyDeleteI think all your poems are love poems Rall. Love for poetry. The cat poem was such a delight to read.
ReplyDeleteSo much to read and enjoy, thank you.
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to read them all. Just the relevant day.
DeleteI chuckled about your cat poem, Rall. I have two little princesses, and they resemble your words. Good job on the acrostic, too. 🌸
ReplyDeleteYour cat poem cracked me up, Rall! I enjoyed all your poems.

In Mur'bah the march was washed out! Not that I had planned to attend anyway. I have mixed feelings about Anzac Day. I do get the grief and pride for those lost so dreadfully , and understand the camaraderie of those who returned after going through it together ... and yes, war is a great evil; unbelievable that it is still happening due to the greedy and power-hungry.
ReplyDeleteWELL of course we are going to read all of them! LOL. My favorite is the "This Poem Is" beginning each stanza ~ I have done several of them and really enjoy the challenge. Cheers to you!!!
ReplyDeleteStunning set of poems, Rall!
ReplyDeleteWonderful embarrassment of poetical riches, Rall!
