ReplyDeleteI enjoyed all your memories, and could strongly relate to several. It was SO nice to be reminded of the tan shoes and pink carnation, and the big panama with the purple hat band!
I enjoyed reading your childhood toys and make believes. The boat reminded me of mine, an empty bottle that floated a while after a rain. It went to far away places for sure.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful post!!!! So many milestones, more than several we share. I would SO have enjoyed an afternoon tea with you way back then, Rall.
ReplyDeleteI love this flow of happy thoughts - especially the typewriter and the writing journey it started - Jae
ReplyDeleteOh how delightful to go with you through memory lane and what a fine one it was
ReplyDeleteI love the cute only child with her own family. I think I probably played similar games.
ReplyDeleteit was nice to have a glimpse of your life. It was like going through the pages of a read-out-loud-book with such imagery.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely lovely. Memories are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading about your memories. Lovely poem.
