POW PROMPT 4

Write a poem as a response to the painting above ' Feet Beneath The Table ' by Charles Blackman (Australian Painter.)
You could assume a character if you wish. I know I am identifying with at least two . Gosh,
Wednesdays come around quickly. So best leave you to get on with it . I can feel a form coming on. No, lost it. Not in form after all. Looking forward to reading you then. A toute a l'heure or toodle-oo amigos!

  5. I'm sorry I missed participating in the last prompt and will try to get this one in. But in the meantime, I thought of you just now as I was gathering a bit of comedy for my blog: Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers singing the hilarious sendup of a certain type of gospel music: "Atheists Don't Have No Songs." (I hope it's not too much of an American thing...)

    Enjoy!

  6. That's OK Paul I know you are very busy with your studies and pastoral care duties etc.Always pleased to hear from you when you have the time. Thanks for the video.
I am out in the sticks at the moment and I get very poor computer connection so I can't play the video ( which looks great). I will wait
until I drive into town next week to see it.

As for the American thing...I would just like to say that my blog encounters with the American poets has been great...you are what we call really 'good sports', charming and far more open minded than I was led to believe.
Alas, charm is an attribute that one rarely encounters down here in Oz so I'm chuffed to be
exposed to it from Americans and the Poms on a regular basis.
    Cheers
