POW PROMPT 5

POW PROMPT 5

' The Dresden clock continued ticking on the mantepiece
And the footman sat upon the dining-table
Holding the second housemaid on his knees--
Who had always been so careful while her mistress lived '

From ' Aunt Helen' by T.S. Eliot

Looking forward to some splattered diverse brilliance next Wednesday!

  4. Hmmm. Must do some research, praps some field work on this one. I have a dim memory of Eliot's saint/whore dichotomies. What is it about English maids?

  5. They have rosy complexions and give good curtsey ;)

'Tom and Viv' is a very good autobiographical movie about T S Eliot. Poor Viv, his wife, didn't fare so well out of the relationship.See you next Wednesday with bells on BDBOY. Enjoy your weekend.
