I wander lonely as a cloud amongst the spittled flecked rant of undisciplined and disconnected ramblings I clasp my hands together in prayer and with a squeeze and pump-behold-I produce The ' Toreador Song ' Bass trombone interludes reminiscent of a Scottish podiatrist I once knew seemed eerily close by Amazing appendages - hands What better accompaniment to the 1812 (my next project ) than the rumbling of distant cannon fire across the ocean
I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Were those your hands, Rall? I just about made the music fit the action, though wasn't sure exactly where to start!
The poem also fits, so I can imagine you singing as you wrote. I bet old WW is like a whirling dervish in his tomb (Poet's corner?) Sorry, I'm rambling.....
Admittedly, I don't often watch videos...am more intent on reading words, but this one I HAD to. Lest I be left standing with my mouth wide open wondering....what????? A clever and creative effort, Rall.
What I object to, Rall . . . there's people out there who seem to think those hands are MINE! Carmen is not in my repetoire. But for a fee - a large fee - I can render "God Save the Weasel" or "Pop Goes the King." P.S. Podiatrist? What's one of those? I daren't look.
Footsie I know those hands are not yours...However it is strongly rumoured that you were responsibe for the bass trombone notes or (raspberries) in the rendition.
