INTRODUCING THE GROSS SIR LES PATTERSON

MAD WOMAN'S BREAKFAST

It seems
that it is preferable to eat sludge
at a mad woman's breakfast
with questionable company
than indulge in fine dining with one

'A chacun son gout' dit
Madame Sosostris to dear Mr.Equitone.

  1. I can see I have some catching up to do, Rall ... but now I am awaiting the arrival of my granddaughter (18 months), so I will just be here for a quick minute.

I liked Gary Snyder. He has a craggy, mountain-man look about him and his poetry is direct, a no-nonsense style. I never have been one for fancy.

Thank you for bringing him to my attention. As you may have noticed, my poetry background is sadly lacking.

  2. Nope, I've not noticed that at all...My knowledge of American poetry is abysmal and I must rectify that.

I have not read Gary Snyder. You introduced me to him. I misread Jack for Gary and looked him up on the net.So who is Jack Snyder?
