  2. I think I may have been in that pub when I was younger.

  3. I came to Australia just after 6.00pm closing ended but the habit remained in the country of drinking as much as possible before that time then going home pretty full to the family for tea. The secret of the bar banter was never to be offended by anything that was said and the sooner you would be accepted. Yes, there were a lot of laughs, I even got taken home to meet the missus, so I knew I done something right. Whatever happened to Aussie mateship?

  8. Great capture of the strange habits of the male human species. When I first began working construction, green behind the ears, my common nickname was Fuckhead. They loved me!

  9. I'm not sure if the first comment transmitted..even though Major Tom is out of retirement! Those gritty outback initiations even reach this far..when a fuck you love becomes familiar..not literally but in the vernacular..you know.. ;)

  10. LOL! Nico I had the impression that a sweet gentle creature like yourself would be shocked at this poem. Evidently I was wrong...( still laughing!)
