Haiku Heights

i could never live
with a man who did not bring
me long stemmed roses

chivalrous he was
a husband planning his wife's
demise- good movie

" Notorious"
Cary Grant, Ingrid Bergman, Claude Rains

i'm so bored with this
cheapskate and his measly rose
stolen from a bush

chicks dig chivalry
pay attention doddle duck
i'm dropping some hints

chivalry - what's that?
non existent down under
reason gals travel

no point dropping hints
find an import from os
all the smart gals do

  4. Oooooo Blimey..this is the first poem ever penned for me. Boy, you're good at this Doddles :)......I'll be smiling and humming all day now XX

  5. Ha ha...very funny! Doddles and I are separated by several oceans. Pommes are very skilled at this type of thing...a strapping aussie bloke like yourself could pick up a few pointers although a lot of the foreign sheilas find rough diamonds a novelty:)

    1. Er, excuse me, I am no 'Pomme'! I hail from the glorious Emerald Isle and am a very rough diamond who the gals just love to polish.

    2. Poor guy. I've given a bad impression of him. Here's the rest of the story:

      he was sick all week
barely out of bed that day
      still hobbled to park

:-) Yes. I can't wait for the hand kissing.
