Oooooo Blimey..this is the first poem ever penned for me. Boy, you're good at this Doddles :)......I'll be smiling and humming all day now XX
ReplyDeleteOoops...sorry, wrong room!
ReplyDeleteHa ha...very funny! Doddles and I are separated by several oceans. Pommes are very skilled at this type of thing...a strapping aussie bloke like yourself could pick up a few pointers although a lot of the foreign sheilas find rough diamonds a novelty:)
ReplyDeleteEr, excuse me, I am no 'Pomme'! I hail from the glorious Emerald Isle and am a very rough diamond who the gals just love to polish.
DeleteWell there goes that fantasy down the gurgler:)
DeleteI have, on occasion, been accused of being British. I deny that vigorously.
ReplyDeleteNah... you're fair dinkum true blue...I will put a haiku on specially for you sport!
ReplyDeleteThe first reminded me of my old favorite song Neil Diamond & Barbara Streisand in "You Don't Bring Me Flowers"
ReplyDeleteLove the sarcasm in the others!! Excellent!!
Nanka my dear...satire not sarcasm tsk! :)
DeleteMy apologies it is satire!! ;)
DeleteYour haiku and your comment zone had me laughing this morning. I read the haiku to my husband. Hint. HInt.
