At our corner store the owner used to hold the newspapers down with a large can of dog food. My very smart dog recognised this can as his regular dog food and was known to nick it and run home.

LOVE your humor - (although my dog Freddie (who frequently posts on my blog) was upset. Freddie thinks that it's not a NAUGHTY dog and he wants you to change the first line to "curious doggie".)
