Notorious
the famous Alfred Hitchcock movie
husband Claude Rains is slowly poisoning his young wife
his mama concocting the toxins to be put in the drinks
risky business being a double agent amongst nazi spies
espionage is a health hazard
particularly when the aging husband
spots his young wife Ingrid Bergman
doing some fiery kissing with Cary Grant

i ask you
is this worth dying for?:)
The 3 minute kiss in this movie which is on youtube is said to be the most erotic kiss in cinema history. Amazing to think this movie was made in 1946.
amazing and notorious information ...thanks!
ReplyDeleteI say yes. Life without passion is meaningless.
ReplyDeleteLOL
DeleteI think erotica is suffering from sexual over-exposure.....there was more romance, more that was kept private, back then which I definitely preferred to all the humping and crotch-grabbing that goes on on tv these days. Sorry for the blunt terminology! Love your reference to the old movies and the photos are wonderful.
ReplyDelete...humping and crotch grabbing! LOL
Deleteespionage is a health hazard, haha
ReplyDeleteNo, not even a three minute kiss with Cary Grant would be worth dying for. Nice job and subject.
Haha! But I have to say, jealousyis a health hazard, spy or not But maybe, just maybe, these leading men are worth it. We'll never know for sure.
ReplyDeletethat's dangerous! and definitely a health hazard.
ReplyDeleteon a not-so-similar note, i was reading the news about the murder of ms. honduras and one speculations is due to her sister's boyfriend's jealousy...
Sometimes the risk is worth taking - life would be dull without risks.
ReplyDeleteOne tender touch is worth a thousand grabs.
ReplyDeleteHmm a kiss or a life...interesting one Rallentanda...maybe one moment of pleasure is life in itself..although why must it always be the woman that dies!
ReplyDeleteBecause the men in charge prefer it that way:) LOL. Hey you must be writing this on small bits of table napkin attaching it to the pigeon outside your window to reach the outside world. Oh Jae..Keep larfin Luv !
DeleteIs a moment of pleasure worth dying for? Nah. Is a true, deep, passionate love worth it? I say yes, although that would kind of be self-defeating I suppose. :)
ReplyDeleteClever and quite well written.
ReplyDeleteWell written, and a very valid question.
ReplyDeleteMy tongue is lodged firmly in my cheek !
DeleteI'm with Old Egg.
ReplyDeleteI imagine kissing Cary Grant had to be good for your health. I must watch that kiss.
