Clever humour. How I miss those times. How have we come to thinking profanity, insult and belittling are the only wells to draw humour, or what passes for it, from?
Sigh... Yes, indeed, Rall. The good old days of silly humour and witty exchanges between intelligent comedians, unforced (and often simple) and simply funny comedy. Nice one!

DeleteThank you for the introduction
ReplyDeleteOh yes. I'm with you here. Thank you for making poetry of it. But I rarely watch children's shows. Maybe some intelligent gentle silliness is there?
ReplyDeleteI love the sparkling wit and humor in your verse :)

ReplyDeleteMusical conversations, especially humorous ones, are some of the best!
ReplyDeleteBritish humour at its best. I wouldn't mind seeing repeats of that show again, wasn't it called "It ain't half hot Mum"?
ReplyDeleteIndeed, that kind of humor seems to be a thing of the past! Sadly.
ReplyDeleteOh you expressed that well and indeed that was a clever and humourus series
ReplyDeleteGood solid silly humor is not seen so much anymore. Love this!
