Alborada del gracioso For The Weekend



ravel
feels
like summer

a tall cool drink
of  dangerous joy
popped like a champagne cork

a glissando caress
from a warm breeze
wrought
by a few bars of spanish magic

a burst rose
shedding a confetti of petals
an overwhelming optimism
as wide as the smile
of someone
over the moon

    What a virtuoso! He doesn't play the piano as much as he bursts cosmic sunshine from it! Your poem frames his optimistic energy quit well.

      He is indeed a magnificent performer. I have been playing this music in my head all weekend. It was made for swimming.The surf was brilliant today.. navy blue waves topped with white horses.Good to see you here.
