the streets of paris ran with blood
the smell was so bad around la place de la concorde
real estate prices dropped drastically in that area
no one wanted to live there
poor woman
i can relate to this
it's the sort of thing
i would do
i once apologised
to a burglar
i said
" i'm sorry
i thought you were a burglar"
bursting out laughing
he turned and ran away
obviously thought
i was stark raving mad

ReplyDeleteHumanity appears to have one fatal flaw we are stupid. With this fantastic Earth to live on yet we just don't get along with our own species...we hate most of them and always have!
ReplyDeleteOh that burglar! I had one once while in university. The guy kicked in the door (he had me confused with the drug dealer in another house). I swacked him with my baseball bat and when he collapsed to the floor, I called the police. Then made an ice bag for his bloody nose and some aspirin. Go figure. I like the lines about La Place de la Concorde. Very real writing about this.
